Local Police visited the home of “Tommy Vann” over silly comments he made on this site.. ( have you had enough yet Cambridge?) you must VOTE this Control Freak .. out of OFFICE!!

Interesting Friday evening.

Johnny Law comes to my door.

A pair of plain clothed fellows. I welcome them in as I always do.

One fellow states they’re here to see me about what I wrote in the media, The Advocate.

Perhaps the papers as well.

Go ahead boys, ask away.

He quoted a comment about taking care of Dyke.

Did you write this? Oh yeah, I did I said. What did you mean?

If I get elected the 1st thing I would do is take care of Dyke and fire him.

You spoke of a knife at council. Yep, I did.

With that foolish new conduct code, searching people for weapons and control factors I said I was thinking of becoming one of them groups that have them turbans and carry them ceremonial daggers no one can touch (religiously protected) and go into council.

Just to show them how foolish and open ended this is.

The cop asked if I had reason or was interested in harming Dyke or anyone.

I said no. Why would anyone telegraph this or setup a premeditated action I said.

The rest of the meeting was off and on.

I will say those cops were pleasant and just were doing their job.

What I have issue with is city hall.

I will be dealing with this soon enough. They now involved my family, and my neighbours asked why the cops were at my door.

I am not sure who sent them as yet but rest a sure I will find out and there will be unpleasant moments for someone over this.

I am a huge history buff and this has similar marks of what started in the 30’s. It looks like it is going on to others in Cambridge as well. What’s next for city hall?

Strip searches, targeting, or removal of personal guns from your home because they say so.

Not in my world boys.

Gee seems ever since this City decided to implement a ‘Code of Conduct’ for the taxpaying public this is getting out of control.
Is City Hall trying to take away our right to Freedom of Speech? Come on now people this is starting to get out of hand…we cannot have a ‘true’ voice at City Hall, we cannot say anything to the media because that’s all biased and now this?????
I really have a problem here and I am going to speak out against what is being done here…

This is WRONG!!! We are a DEMOCRATIC society with DEMOCRATIC rights…of which freedom of speech is a part of that!!!

Gee maybe Council should supply desks for each one of us that come there so after we get ‘searched’ for God knows what reason, we can simply lay our heads on the desk and be quiet little residents of the City with no say whatsoever.

That way Council will be able to do what they what however they want to

Isn’t this ridiculous – I told you I felt like I was in Russia now – since the last Council meeting – loss of “Freedom of Speech” – being searched – wow – we knew Cambridge Council was so dysfunctional but wow – this is so bad for Cambridge.
Probably part of the reasons we did not get the 2021 Olympics because of this and the fact that Cambridge has no proper facilities. I mean really, 135,000 people and no 50 m swim lanes – no Track – etc. etc. – small town Brantford has them. If Council had done this Complex right at the beginning – done the proper Preliminary studies, looked for private/public sponsors, followed someone’s advice like Dr. Coleman’s – WE WOULD HAVE BEEN UNDER CONSTRUCTION – IN CENTRAL CAMBRIDGE and if planned properly – gotten the Olympics. Would that not have been wonderful for all the businesses in CAMBRIDGE. Wow think of the money it would have brought in.
But “no” our useless Council has gone the “cart before the horse” and accomplished nothing. Still thinking of building OUR COMPLEX ON SOMEONE ELSE’S PROPERTY – really clever work. And they get paid for screwing up.

O.K. so I’m going to mention Cambridge Council, guns, knives, Debbie Vitez and Tommy Vann all in one sentence here on Debbie’s site. If this backfires Deb and Tommy I will come and visit you guys in jail. If it really backfires and I end up in jail will you guys come and visit me?

Hmm just to lessen the possibility of the latter let me advise the Regionals that I’m a senior citizen, thinking of changing genders, semi-disabled (mentally for sure), no criminal record, hugged a Muslim today (literally) and while my house was on the receiving end of a projectile possibly propelled by smokeless powder recently, I have never aimed a weapon at any home or human being in my life.

Oh crap! I just remembered an incident nearly fourty years ago outside a bank in downtown Palmerston. A couple of off-duty ****** officers in blue jeans, T-shirts and running shoes made a foolish move on my Brink’s partner. Forget my comment about never aiming a weapon at ……………………………. . Nobody hurt and an agreement that no paperwork was necessary. Hell I was the rookie, young and inexperienced and I was satisfied that there would be no repeat of the incident.

I believe things will all work out here. Now I am running for office. Mayor Vann the honest Man. I like it. I just can’t imagine what other city’s out there might be thinking about this city today. Ya gotta know the games committee must be pleased they picked Niagara. I passed this on to my cousins in Niagara to post. I just mailed Truedoe to review this. I might even apply for a pardon. Since my ankle bracelet goes off when I leave Cambridge, I could also apply to Kathy Wynn to allow me to see her in Toronto over this. This might open up the doors to freedom. There are no strings on me.

Linda – I believe you – after seeing what has been going on here since 2010. We are interested in those nasty emails from Summerhayes so we can discredit her as she seems to think she is so perfect. Of course we know her speech was written for her. Help us out here.
Tommy – we know you are a joker – guess certain people don’t have a sense of humour any more – does that mean he isn’t getting his own way.
Not nice here in Cambridge right now – losing freedom of speech – have to dress up for Council – can’t wear our favourite hat or t-shirt – so hard now to know how to dress for Council but have clean underwear on in case they do a body search. Be prepared. Things are so uncertain these days in Cambridge.

In 2010 when I ran against Mr. Craig the Elections was in October and you still have to sit as a Councillor until the end of December, I had my Blackberry that belonged to the City, and I had to turn it in, My Grandbaby was born on Dec/7 two months early Emergency c Section and she only weighed two pounds so I was the only one with a Camera (Blackberry) and yes it belonged to the City, and they wanted it back, so I asked them if they would save the pictures of the Baby for me and I was told that of course they would, I was told after I handed in the Blackberry that there was no way they could give me the pictures, so there is where the e mails remain, somewhere in never never land.

That man is an evil bastard and not just in my personal opinion.
He changes how we vote and we are finding lots of proof that internet, tabulators, and telephone has tons of problems province wide.. and yet he continues to change how we vote…. It used to be just Tommy and I who were suspicious.. Turns out we have many many more people finally on Board..

Things have to change in this City…OUT with the PUPPETS and spineless wonders. We need elected officials who listen to the ELECTORATE..
We need HONEST voting in this CITY not RIGGED voting as our friend across the border would say. Mind your ours is FACTUAL …Trump’s is fake.
We need to DRAIN THE SWAMP at City Hall of the SCUM that is there right now…
Let’s get Councillors in that will listen to the NEEDS of this Community and not the stupids WANTS that they feel they have to have for their LEGACY

Darn Linda – would have been great to have those emails.
And I hope you remember who lied to you. More of the same.
I feel sad for the Sports people that had their hopes on the Olympics, but when you have such incompetent non-thinkers on Cambridge Council – did not approach the Sports Complex property – no preliminary plans – no public/private funding – the cart before the horse – such as Craig promising Tibbets OUR sports complex on his property – just what kind of professionalism is this? Really – so therefore – we now have nothing – could have had the Tracks – 50m lane pools more ice rinks – something to be proud of in a CENTRAL LOCATION – to support our business people.
The Olympic panel knew of the issues here in Cambridge – so therefore the outcome – too bad. Will we find out why Craig is afraid of RANKED VOIING?

I’m just glad the warrant for my arrest didn’t come up. I’m still wanted in the F.L.Q. affairs. I still laugh in the face of death. Alfred E Newman.

Your computers have been monitored and hacked by city hall for years now. Tommy is just laughing as they spend our resources on the game. Vote them out and Dyke goes with them. We hire loyal Cambridge people not these flakes.

2018 will need 30 plus percent voter turn out to change things
if 10 candidates run for one office
    it muddies the swamp
130 million of projects big tax increase cops at the door
isn’t enough to get people out
    what is
    anyone listening

    Linda April 4, 2017 at 5:04 pm

If ten candidates run it is because he will make sure ten people run to split the vote, Do you really think most of the ten people think they have a chance to be Mayor, One or two really think they can beat him, the rest are there to split the vote. He will win one way or the other if he still wants the Chair…

We need to get the people out to vote..They need to get rid of Craig ad Dyke and some of those spineless wonders we call our Councillors who were elected by us but march to the ‘Craigy’ drum because they won’t stand up to him.
We need the people to see exactly what there elected officials are like…

Well, my wife left me, my cat died and the car won’t start. So I played some Country and Western backwards so everyone could hear. Like a bomb going off or like a shot from a gun boom, I got them all back by the end of the song.

I have heard to keep the public quiet in Council Chambers they will be playing that Rap Crap before council convenes and when they have their 2 minute recess…Talk about keeping us in line…I am sure city staff have ‘favourites’ they will be playing

The 1st thing I do when I get elected is to take care of Dyke. No word of shooting, bombing or finger painting. So, what gives? Who in their right mind wouldn’t want to toss this cowboy out to bring in a pleasant workable person? Yes, I am running in 2018 so fill your file Doug. I would bring the firing of Dyke to the 1st meeting. City hall must be taxpayer friendly, staff must work for the people and gun slinging attitudes get tossed out the window. Any teachers or cops would have to put their entitlement attitude behind them. Go ahead, shoot me for expressing my world vision. Taking care of business and problems would be my mission in life. I heard this once that most people with a beard or mustache hide behind them. Have pleasant day Dougie boy.

I love your platform Mr. Vann. You have my vote (although I would not be in your ward) but I will help you in any way possible to be an elected official for this City.
You platform is admirable..Maybe if you get elected you can also ‘toss’ that Code of Conduct to the wind….
The residents of this City are not a bunch of Rednecks..We are not a bunch of ‘gun’ totin’ bandits..
We are respected human beings and we need to be treated as such.
This Mayor and his sidekick the City Manager do not think we are respectable which is a disappointment

Do these YAHOO’S think we come to Council to Stir up trouble…NO WAY .. we come to have our voice heard and to be listened to…My advice to Mayor Craig and Mr. Dyke….Clean the peanut butter and potatoes out of your ears and TRULY listen to what the residents are saying…As it stands right now your CLOSED MIND will search you out in 2018

Apr.11 – Mr.Campbell’s letter in about the lack of people out for the meeting for the BRIDGE TO NOWHERE – well it was voted in last year – has been on Craig’s to do list for longer than that – so people just give up. You know that is why we vote in Council members to look after us – well they are not – they seem to be under Craig’s control. And now with this muzzle code put in – ordinary people have absolutely no say.
But did you know it is being paid for out of Hydro profits. That much eh and look at our Hydro bills. For some people it means less food or no heat.
It seems that Council with the Mayor in control have lost their sensible judgements. So now a BRIDGE TO NOWHERE – when there are Bridges north & south of proposed site. Really. And no Bridge over the 401 – where a man was killed – oh right he was from Hespeler – so he doesn’t count and the Dam in Preston is a necessity fix but they stall. Fix it – use the stupid useless Bridge money towards it. Boy if that was in Galt – it would have been done years ago. I am getting so sick & tired of the discrimination going on at city hall.
    |And they can’t even get a referendum right – wow what a mess that would have been. Good for Richard – good that someone knows their job.
Just too many letters in our papers to ignore Council – wake up. As people keep saying – we don’t all have Teachers & Police Pensions to live on. So wasted money on items like a BRIDGE TO NOWHERE really irritates. Roads are rotten – you have let all the arenas go to ruin – oh right not Dickson – wow the money spent there was unreal. But sure you had to tear down Hespeler’s old arena – nothing wrong with it. The new one is great – but could have had double pads from donated funds but City refused. Wow – dumb or what – just goes on and on..

Anny, git yer guns! Prepare the bomb shelters, load up on food and water cuze a war is coming. The soldier of fortune magazine has it all. People like we have downtown have lost the meaning of why they are on this planet. Many days I watch the rot of money corrupt those who could and have the ability to make this town, country, world a better place but choose not to. Greed, selfish goals and evil create a path to personal and spiritual death. Many we speak of… enjoy what you have left, ’cause time is short. I will drink a gallon of water before I visit certain headstones.
